Interesting experiment to see if I could cut the spongy packing foam into strips on the table saw. The riving knife is important, or the foam curl over against the blade and lift up. It cut remarkably well.
Please note that this is the plasticy type foam, not the rubbery type. It's probably not a good idea to try to cut the rubbery type on a table saw like this.
